Box specs

Oh, I'm talking about the laptop I am using.

I used to own a powderful desktop with nice specs and such, but when I moved to SG, I decided that it should not be following me. So, naturally, a laptop would be a nice thing to have and it is highly portable. (I would love to own a desktop, but since I am like a nomad now, laptop would be a wiser choice.)

And hunting for a laptop in such a short period of time and with limited knowledge on laptops, I didn't manage to buy one before moving here. My brother got me his old laptop and I was thinking, "Ah, as long as I can online, no prob." So I settled with that until I have the time and money to get a new one.

Now, folks, tell me, should I buy a new one with the current laptop specs like this?

The speed is really amazing. I can only play 1 Facebook flash game at a given time. And the lagness increases as such, Baking Life > Restaurant City > Pet Society. Do expect a few minutes of hanging there and everything frozen up.

And, it hangs when multiple ppl MSN me. And you want to watch movies? Prepare for the voice first, graphics later. :D

*darn, this is getting on my nerves*

I don't now if the decision to get a new one is a wise one or a waste.

I don't know how to answer when I was asked, this laptop cannot be used already?

I don't know how to tell them that I can't watch movies nor play games with it.

I don't know how to tell them that a computer is a necessity and my sole entertainment.

I don't know how to tell them that the lag and hang thingy is getting on my nerves.

I don't know how to justify that a new laptop with a RM3k budget is not a waste and well worth the money.

I don't know how to tell them that I am unhappy, that I can't be doing the things I want with the current box.

I can't edit photo without expecting it to be lag.

I can't use any microsoft office applications as I didn't managed to installed it. I don't know why.

I can't plug in the mic!

I just can't use it as freely. -_-
