Let's get our imagination go wild. Me is moving from a big pond to a smaller bowl of aquarium fit for a goldfish. (Well, normally those folks do have their goldfish in bowl shape aquarium, right?)
Singapore, to me is like a small aquarium. You swim to the right, you hit the wall. You swim to the left, you hit the wall again. That's the "benefit" of staying in an overcrowded island. o.O Imagine you put 4 goldfish in a small aquarium...
Based on my observation (Might be wrong okay? Just MHO.) , there are a few things you can't avoid seeing or doing in Singapore. And nope, I'm not complaining. I am just amused and amazed.
No. 1:
There are a lot of figures around and almost same road names.
Let me give you some examples.
You got Block36, 888, 202, 18... etc etc. You got bus number 170, 160, 168, 903, 912, 913... etc etc.
Then, you got Marsiling Lane, Marsiling Drive etc etc, Woodlands Ave 1, 2, 3, etc etc. Pardon me, I think they got like avenue, drive, lane, road, and I can't keep track of all.
No. 2:
Wherever you go, first rule, please queue up.
When do you queue? When you buy food, when you cross roads, when you wait for bus or cab, when you want to do some business in washroom, etc etc.
No. 3:
I don't know if it is me or it is like that? Hmm, people here either, shopping or chilling out at places to listen to live bands.
No. 4:
Most people, young or old, got earphones in their ears most of the time. (Fuh, I'm doing that lately.)
I'll add on more to the list later.
Oh, oh, I got my Singapore mobile number already. (FINALLY) It is a prepaid one though. And it requires me to top up every 6 months. Woooot! If and only if I don't use it that often.
Oh by the way, you guys know that I can be contacted at my MY mobile number at night right? I am staying near MY enough to receive Maxis signal. Wooooot again!
So far, I managed to explore a little of Orchard Road and City Hall areas, hopefully can go more places, but heck, I'll take my own sweet time.
Time to sleep. Night night~
Entertainment~

And imagine that aquarium filled with lots of these....
