SC in Singapore, surviving..

It has been quite some time since I last updated my blog.

I'm still alive, struggling to adjust myself to the lifestyle in Singapore. It is not that bad actually. The tough part would be adjusting myself to another lonely world again. This is kind of ironic because the main reason why I wanted to change a job in the first place is for a new environment and desperately hoping that it would be nearer to my family. The one up there really loves to arrange me to go further and further south. Not that I have a lot to complain, I know that things often turns out 180 degree different from what we want or planned.

That aside, now I am walking to work everyday taking up to almost an hour everyday. I am seriously considering buying a secondhand bicycle. I can save up a little energy by cycling and I could cycle to the nearest mall too (heck, I could save SGD1.40 bus fare!). Man, should start bringing calculator with me. Wait, I do use phone calculator. Poking and multiplying everything with 2.4 thus reminding me not to simply spend.

And that stupid habit subsequently contributes to my indecisiveness on whether to sign up for an iphone plan or not. GOD, this is a tough one. Might be easy for some but heck, I have damn lot of considerations. If I stay at my current place, I wont be calling a lot which means I don't even need an Singapore phone other than calling locally. What if I move? Sheesh. Then, iphone is cheap. And I have 20% discount. The package would cost me SGD50 a month for 2 years with 300 minutes of free calls and 12GB data package. I would just need to pay SGD400 for the phone! Dang. But I guess I will be under utilizing it as I don't think I would need it. Argh, I sucks at this.

That aside, the food is much cheaper if you compare dollar to dollar, if you convert, omg, eat bread also much more expensive. Sien. It is not that I am earning not enough to support myself, but imagining every 2.4 that you could save! I should be staying in much cheaper place!

Hahaha I know all I have here is rants rants rants and rants. Just bear with me. I think I'll survive. But for how long I don't know. Life is boring. Or maybe it is just me that have not find the entertainment yet.
