Finally, got another chop on my passport. This is the second time I visit Singapore. It is a day trip this round. The last time I went to Singapore is by cab, where it took me right to the exact place I wanted to go, saving me the hassle of passing the immigration check.
However, this round I went by bus. It was quite an experience, actually. Hahaha, please spare me the [insert any thoughts here]. I never take bus for so long (with exception travelling to and forth KL). I bought 7.30am bus and asked my friend to send me to the bus station. Pity him have to wake up so early to pick me. :)
Seriously, I don't know how to go from Larkin to JB CIQ and then to Woodlands Checkpoint. Of course I did ask for directions. Me bro drew me a map (a very nice one and detailed one). And he said, "You take cab whenever is possible. The only time you take bus would be from JB Custom to SG Custom cos there is no cab available." So, the next thing you know, I followed my bro instructions, taking cab to JB CIQ, then bus to Woodlands Checkpoint and then I looked for a cab to go to Causeway Point. It was really convenient albeit is a tad more expensive than taking buses.
I met up with an old school mate of mine. I think we did not see each other since graduated from high school. Man, time really flies. It has been 8 years since then. When she called me, she spoke in Cantonese. I got a bit shocked because I totally cannot remember what language we used last time. Definitely not BM or English. It was really fun meeting her again and we are going to meet again for a drink when she comes home in February.
After that, we parted and went on our own. I've got to go to Woodlands to settle some stuff. I was really blurred. I boarded a bus to Kranji MRT with a SGD10 note and no EZLINK card. The bus driver was really nice to let me boarded without needing to pay. Hahahaha.
Driver: Got smaller change?
Me: *blur* Don't have.
Driver: *shakes head* Go sit.
*Bus arrives at Kranji MRT*
Me: Erm, how should I pay then?
Driver: Where you want to go?
Me: Kranji MRT.
Driver: Go down here. You don't have small change, how you want to pay? -_-
Me: -_-
Then I waited for my friend to pick me up and we took MRT to her house. That was the first time I visited her at her house. Man, I was amazed by her Ipod. -_- Sound like a kampung girl. That thing you shake shake, turn it, it changes! Hahaha. I was so tired that I fell asleep while sitting. I sit on the floor, and my friends keep asking me to sit on the chair/bed. :P My taxi picked me up around 7pm. It was quite late when I reached home. I am so tired that I am about to doze off now. :S
On the side note: I wanted to go backpack! I don't dream of going anywhere far. Somewhere near will do. :) But I'll one person to accompany. Least that I got lost. The last thing on earth I have would be common sense. Muahahaha.
